The biggest piss up on the planet is probably the best way to describe Germany’s Oktoberfest.

The annual German beer festival attracts over six million people and for 17 days the residents of Munich and the millions of tourists enjoy
beer, beer, and more beer. Throw in some food, a funfair and some frauleins and I think I’ve covered all bases.

The 2009 binge begins this Saturday, September 19th, and runs through until October 4th.
