The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009

The Frankfurt Motor Show opens to the public on September 17 and runs until the 27th but yesterday the press were given exclusive access to the motor worlds latest models and concept cars.

Mercedes premiered the SLS AMG, a super-sports car with gull-wing doors. Also on show was the Ferrari 458 Italia, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, Bentley Mulsanne and the Tesla Roadster Sport.

All the majors were pushing their hybrid concepts. Lexus unveiled the LF-Ch, the plug-in version of the Prius was also on show. Volkswagen showed off their new L1 and the electric-powered Trabant nT proved popular with guests.
