Celtic star Scott Brown was left behind from the clubs pre-season trip to Australia to rest his injured ankle.

Instead of sitting back and watching the coverage of T In The Park from the comfort of his home on BBC Three he decided to join 85,000 music fans for a couple of bands and a few bevvies.

He was quickly recognised and after getting a bit of abuse from the crowd he retreated to the VIP lounge where he downed a few pints of lager and cider before sampling some Red Bull and vodka which he was down with Sambuca.

And his new boss Tony Mowbray isn’t going to be the only one ripping him a new arse when he returns from Oz. His new wife Lisa, who he married only a month ago, might be telling Tony to join the queue after it was pointed out that Brown was also partying minus his wedding ring.

Did he think nobody would recognise him or that Rangers fans wouldn’t go snapping his drunk ass?
