Bayern: Ribery Going Nowhere

Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness says £45million would not buy one of Franck Ribery’s legs following reports Chelsea are willing to pay that amount for the Frenchman.
Speculation has claimed that Chelsea are willing to offer a British record in a bid to entice the playmaker to Stamford Bridge over the summer.
Ribery is rumoured to be the Blues’ top transfer target and Carlo Ancelotti, who is tipped to replace Guus Hiddink as manager, has recommended the former Marseille ace.
Hoeness revealed earlier this week that Manchester United had made a tentative enquiry, should Cristiano Ronaldo leave Old Trafford, while Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked with bids.
However, Hoeness has warned that, if Ribery asks to leave Allianz Arena, his new club will have to smash the world record fee for a footballer.
