Argentina 1-3 Brazil

Brazil booked their place at next summer’s World Cup in South Africa with a 3-1 win against Argentina last night in Rosario.

Luisao put Brazil in front after he was left unmarked from an Elano header.

Luis Fabiano then tapped in from close range after Maicon’s shot was spilled to make it two nil going into the break.

Brazil keeper Julio Cesar denied Maxi Rodriguez from close range before Jesus Datolo scored with a spectacular drive.

The celebrations were short lived as Brazil restored their two goal advantage just two minutes later when a Kaka pass found Fabiano, who dinked the ball home to seal his side’s win.
