Antonio Valencia Signs For Man Utd

Manchester United have confirmed Antonio Valencia as their first summer arrival as the 23-year-old signed a four-year deal yesterday (June 30).

The fee agreed between Man Utd and Wigan is believed to be in the region of £16million and already manager Ferguson is tipping the silky South American to play a big part in the campaign ahead.

“I am sure his pace and ability will make a significant contribution to the team”, he said.
