The Worst Sports Kits And Outfits Ever

If appearing in front of thousands of spectators and fans wasn’t enough, some sports men and women take things a step further to make sure they get themselves seen and noticed.
Football teams seem to be the front runners when it comes to hideous kits. Cameroon’s all in one shirt and shorts number was banned, and quite rightly so – it looked ridiculous.
The Mexican national team came up with a novel idea to stop the opposition scoring by dressing goalkeeper Jorge Campo in a blindingly bright strip.
Andre Agassi pushed the fashion boundaries on a tennis court by wearing some bright blue Lycra shorts which started a trend of unfitting outfits. Step up Roger Federer, who arrived on Centre Court at Wimbledon in a white suit.
Female tennis stars got in on the act too. Remember Bethanie Mattek? She turned up for her doubles quarter-final at the 2007 US Open dressed in a leopard-print number that was more suited to a nightclub.
Goofy golfers John Daly and Ian Poulter should have been arrested by the fashion police for teeing off in golfing atire that should have came with a health warning.
And finally there’s Cathy Freeman and Florence Griffith-Joyner who thought all in one bodysuits were the way to win at athletics.
Here’s 16 pictures of some of sports worst ever kits and outfits.
