True Blood – Back With A Bite!

The awesome HBO show True Blood came flooding back onto our screens last week to an extremely warm, and much anticipated welcome. The show’s second season premiere brought in ratings as high as the series finale of The Sopranos on HBO which is pretty amazing!

According to the Nielson ratings, 3.7 million viewers tuned in to True Blood on Sunday! These ratings are said to be up 157% from the first season’s premiere and up 51% more than last season’s finale.

With its super hot cast, punchy storylines and quirky characters I can’t say as I’m surprised. I’ve been a fan of the show since day one and I’m pleased to see it getting the recognition it clearly deserves.

Plotlines are already being established, with the mysterious woman from Sam’s past proving she has a few secrets of her own, Lafayette’s imprisonment and Jason’s interest in a strange cult there’s plenty of room for some interesting twists and turns to come and I’ll be tuning in religiously!
