Simple Susan Stuns Sneering BGT Audience And Judges

47 Year old Susan Boyle lives alone with her ten-year-old cat, has never been kissed, and is teased by children in the street. And as you can see from her photo above simple Susan is in need of a serious make over but she stunned and silenced the sneering audience and judges with her performance of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ from Les Miserables at the auditions for Britains Got Talent.

In the promo with the shows hosts, Ant And Dec, you’d have thought the cheese had slid off simple Susan’s cracker. Everyone thought it. In her pre-audition interview she left you with the impression she was just another ‘joke’ act.

In the end Susan has the last laugh with her stunning performance. All the sneering from the judges at her desire to be as successful as singer Elaine Paige were wiped off their faces when she broke into song.

I admit I had a chuckle to myself at her just walking off stage at the end of her performance before the panel gave her their thoughts. However she did return to hear what Simon, Amanda and Piers had to say – and boy did they have some serious backtracking to do. I’m surprised they managed to say anything considering the amount of humble pie they had to eat.
