Piers Morgan Interviews Homer Simpson

As The Simpsons celebrates 20 years, Piers Morgan meets the head of the household for a Daily Mail interview.

Homer, Wikipedia describes you as ‘crude, overweight, clumsy, lazy and ignorant’. Any complaints with that description?

‘Complaints? Are you kidding? Those are taken from my resume. Also, I can belch the song We Will Rock You. And I am excellent at using computers. To set my drinks on.’

You’ve held down 188 jobs in 20 years. Why do you appear to be the worst employee in history?

‘Hey, I may have been fired 188 times, but that also means I’ve been HIRED 188 times. Clearly, I give one hell of a job interview.’

Now, your IQ is reputed to be lower than that of George W Bush…

‘People say I’m dumber than George W Bush but I’d NEVER have invaded Iraq. I’ve no idea where it is.’

How do you feel about Britain?

‘I love Britain ‘cos it’s the only place in Europe where everyone speaks American.’
