Day 7 In the Big Brother House – Nominations Revealed.

Nominations were revealed in the BB house in last night’s coverage of the show. The housemates gathered round the sofas to be told the news that Halfwit (Freddie) and Sophia were the ones up for the public vote this week in a live eviction show that will be taking place tonight on C4.

Despite some confusion it is confirmed that the eviction will still go ahead as planned despite Saffia’s shock exit last night! Could we possibly be looking at a potential new housemate to be added to the show to replace her?

Other highlights from coverage included Kris giving Sophie a massage, adding fuel to the ever raging fire that the two might have feelings for each other. Meanwhile in another shot we see Noirin giving Marcus a not quite so seductive massage which unsurprisingly didn’t raise quite as many eyebrows.

The housemates were given a new task this week and in the inventive challenge they were told that they must rescue the ‘Emerald of Hope’ in order to win themselves a luxury (£5 per person, per day) shopping budget. Kris was nominated as leader of the task which saw him have to dress up in white spandex and negotiate laser in an Entrapment – esque task. Catherine Zeta Jones, eat your heart out!

They passed the task, earning the right to a luxury food budget for the week and hopefully preventing too much squabbling over meals!

Finally, Angel was invited into the diary room to celebrate her birthday in a ‘party for one’ organised by Big Brother. They played her Russian music as she opened Russian Dolls filled with her favourite foods. She seemed genuinely touched and I find her to be quite a sweet, caring woman. Let’s hope she continues to do well!
