Day 17 in the Big Brother House – Halfwits Birthday Bash!

Last nights BB coverage on C4 showed Halfwit celebrating his birthday. The housemates were given a series of tasks to take part in during the day, and if they completed them all they would be treated to an organic carrot cake and plenty of alcohol! Needless to say, the tasks were done, and the party went ahead!

Highlights of the evening for me were once again hearing the “I don’t think so sonny jim” phrase and watching Sree become increasing frustrated about Noirin talking to Marcus.

Noirin was finally able to take off the drawing on her face thanks to Halfwit’s kind gesture. He was given 3 choices; he could regain his normal name, give ‘Dogface’ her name back or let Noirin off the hook. It was actually quite strange seeing Noirin without the badly drawn glasses and moustache for once! She’s very pretty though.

The whole garden had been kitted out to resemble stone henge as Halfwit’s birthday also fell on Summer Solstice and I think a little bit of the stones ‘magic’ must have rubbed off on the housemates, especially Halfwit and Angel who shared several cringeworthy kisses. What is up with Angel lately, she’s getting stranger by the day!

Look out for the surprise live eviction tomorrow (Wednesday) night on C4, it should spice things up a little! All we need now is some new housemates…
