A Dramatic Week In Hollyoaks!

Well, it’s been drama overload in Hollyoaks this week hasn’t it? In some of the best soap scenes I’ve seen in a while Hollyoaks pulled out all the stops for Warren’s final scenes of the show.

With Claire making her return the tension was mounting, and although she gave a great performance I must admit I’d have rather seen Louise come back to finish Warren off! In fact, that’s who I actually thought it was when she whispered in his ear in that first shot.

There was some excellent use of music in the some of the scenes, making them emotional and gripping. A particular scene between Hannah and Reece stood out for me when Reece was trying to persuade Hannah not to leave. The dialogue, body language and music all seamlessly entwined to make a scene that genuinely brought tears to my eyes.

Warren went down in style, with the mirror finally collapsing in on him, what a way to go and how fitting! Did they find Claire’s body though??

In my opinion Hollyoaks deserves to beat Eastenders hands down in the next awards ceremony, after the complete shambles Easties made of the whole Ronnie and Danielle storyline I’ve still not forgiven them!
