Susan Boyle’s Underwhelming BGT Performance

Well, it turns out that the latest performance from Susan Boyle (Or SuBo as we like to call her) on Britain’s Got Talent wasn’t as good as we’d all hoped. Could it be that the delightful Ms Boyle was… dare we say it? A one trick pony…

I’m guessing she was nervous on the night, as she stumbled on a few of the lyrics and didn’t quite hit some of those high notes. She denied nerves were a problem however when Ant and Dec quizzed her about her performance so who knows.

I personally think that the media buzz has taken its toll on Susan, as she looked a little dazed (more so than usual!) and her performance felt as if it was lacking the charm and enthusiasm of her original audition.

I’d like to see her sing something different on the next show, something that suits her voice even better and then perhaps we’ll see if she is really worth all of this media hype she’s had over the last month.

On a separate note, I’m so glad that Diversity got through! Kind of felt sorry for the poor little girl who didn’t though. A shining example of why children shouldn’t be allowed to enter these things; she looked heartbroken!
