Jacko Memorial Concert At O2 Arena London On His 51st Birthday

Following yesterdays funeral and memorial service in LA for Michael Jackson it is emerging that a Memorial Concert will take place on what would have been the singers 51st birthday – August 29th – at the O2 Arena in London, the scheduled venue for the ill-fated 50 comeback concerts.
The date was earmarked by promoters AEG Live which is looking to recoup some of it’s estimated £30m investment in the “This Is It” gigs.
The date and venue has also been mentioned by Roger Friedman, the Hollywood Reporter journalist who has broken many of the stories surrounding Jackson’s death.
Kenney Ortega, director of Jackson’s planned This Is It UK concerts, has met family members and other organisers about the event.
Looks like the MJ circus is going on tour while the ticket is still red hot.
