Drew Barrymore Glad She’s Not Directing Eclipse

Drew Barrymore has revealed that she’s ‘glad’ she didn’t get the chance to direct the third installment in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse. In an interview with the Irish Times Drew said she wasn’t upset because she had not fallen “in love with” the script, Entertainment Wise reports.

The 34-year-old “Whip It” director said, “Timing-wise, I’m glad that it didn’t work out and everything I think happens for whatever reason it’s supposed to”. She added, ‘I’m very much looking forward to seeing that film. And there’s been two or three others that I’ve flirted with.”

In April this year, Summit Entertainment confirmed that ‘30 Days of Night’ director David Slade has been hired to direct the movie.
