Australian Train Surfer: If You Hold On, You Can’t Fall Off

A train surfer in Australia has been caught on camera risking life and limb to hitch a ride on the outside of a train.

Apparently he did it because the Connex service was too packed to get a seat.

A caller who said he was the train surfer told radio station Nova 100 that it was not the first time he had risked his life on a moving train.

“I jumped on at Burnley (station) and when I got to Surrey Hills, the Connex dude chased me off the back,” he said.

“I’ve done it before, the train’s too packed and you can’t get a seat, you just sit on the back.

“If you hold on, you can’t fall off.”
