One man, six years and fifty kilos of Lego later you have a replica of the Japanese battleship Yamato.

It was constructed by Japanese Lego guru Jun Brick (mmm… sounds fishy) and comprises 100.000 pieces and is 6.5 metres long.

During World War II Yamato was lead ship of her class in the Imperial Japanese Navy. She and her sister ship, Musashi, were the largest and heaviest battleship ever constructed.
