Surprisingly Amy Winehouse Cancels London Gig

Amy Winehouse has cancelled her planned comeback gig in London on May 31.

The concert at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire was part of Island Records’ 50th birthday celebrations.

“Amy would like to apologise to her fans who bought tickets for the show,” the record label said in a statement.

The cancellation comes a week after Winehouse was admitted to hospital in St Lucia complaining of chest pains.

Earlier this month Amy shocked fans with an erratic performance at a jazz festival on the Caribbean island of St Lucia and was taken to hospital after a booze bender.
