Pixie Lott Debuts At #1 On Singles Chart

18 year old Pixie Lott got a dream start to her chart career by going straight in at number one with her debut single Mama Do.

The former stage school starlet knocked US superstars the Black Eyed Peas from the top slot.

The only other new entry inside the top 10 was When Love Takes Over by David Guetta and US singer Kelly Rowland.

In the album chart, rockers Kasabian went straight in at number one with West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.
