Britpop Hardman turns soft

Liam Gallagher has been the hard man of British pop for decades, but now he may be losing his touch as he launches his own clothing range.
Liam has been a trend setter ever since Oasis arrived on the scene back in 1991with his distinctive sunglasses, big coats, scruffy hair and sideburns but now he is turning his attention to his own range of fashion garments which will be launched under the name of Pretty Green which is a tribute to his favourite Mod Rocker band – The Jam.
The Pretty Green range features Parka Jackets, Crew Necks, Scarves, T-Shirts, Shoes and Knitwear and early interest in the brand has been massive with stores eagerly awaiting the retail launch.
Liam described his motivation behind the project saying that he likes clothes and so he is going to do clothes that he likes, and if people like them cool, if they don’t they don’t.
Oasis music has been pretty poor when compared with their early work, but there is no denying that Liam has always had his fingers on the pulse with regards to fashion and I can really see his range coming off well, just don’t try and wear one of his Parka’s in this unusually warm Bristish weather.
