Adam Lambert The New Freddie Mercury?

Adam Lambert, best known for coming second in American Idol is rumoured to have been in talks with legendary Queen Guitarist Brian May about working with the band, and possibly even becoming the new front man!

The hugely talented singer (who in our opinion should have won American Idol last week) recently performed with Queen on the show and really blew everyone away. His strong vocals and instantly recognisable voice fit perfectly with the band’s sound, and I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of big collaborations between the two in future months.

It will be very interesting to see what both of the American Idol finalist albums sound like when they are released, and more importantly who gets the most sales!
