Mayhem On The Set Of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

A Stunt driver performing a series of car chases in Nicholas Cage’s new movie “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” has crashed.
The accident happened on Monday in Times Square, as the professional driver was weaving in and out of traffic, he lost control and the Ferrari he was in mounted the kerb ploughing into the front of an Italian Restaurant injuring two pedestrians.
Luckily traffic in the busy area had been stopped for filming of the sequence, meaning injuries were kept to a minimum, on site emergency staff were on the scene within minutes to administer first aid to the two, who were taken to hospital with minor injuries; the stunt man was also un injured.
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a new interpretation of the Disney animated movie “Fantasia” with Cage being recruited to work for a sorcerer, the film is set for a 2010 release.
