Eliza Dushku and Alyssa Milano For Ghostbusters 3

In an interview with the LA Times last week, writer/actor Dan Aykroyd confirmed that the much-awaited third instalment of Ghostbusters is rearing to go.
“Now we’re at a point that there’s a story that [Bill Murray] can accept and will work, I think we’re going to be in production fairly soon.”
News is that much of the original team will return: Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, Harold Ramis and Aykroyd himself have all signed up.
“I’d like it to be a passing-of-the-torch movie,” said Aykroyd. “Let’s revisit the old characters briefly and happily and have them there as family – but let’s pass it on to a new generation.”
Then Aykroyd went on to mention that he’d be interested in having Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku in a new squad of Ghostbuster cadets. “I think they’re amazing,” the 56-year-old married man said, licking his lips.
