Classic Movie Heathers Remake!

The cult classic movie Heathers starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater first hit screens in 1988 and was one of the best ‘black comedies’ of the 80’s. Its controversial approach made it an instant favourite with teenagers worldwide and even now, it still gets mentioned in all the top 10 movie countdowns and reviews.

Fans of the movie will be pleased to hear that according to Digital Spy there’s a sequel in the works, and it WILL star both original cast members! Winona says that she’s been “wanting to make a sequel forever” and that her co-star Christian Slater will return as his old, much loved character but with a kind of Obi Wan approach. Hmmm, interesting!

Let’s hope that the movie doesn’t disappoint the legions of fans who have been waiting for this to finally happen and that the two stars remain committed to the movie and match their previous performances which were simply amazing.

It is also worth noting that as well as the movie planned, there may also be a Musical in the works so we hear…. More on that to follow when we have details!
