Video: Bungee Jump Goes Horribly Wrong In Phuket

The video below captures the moment the harness came loose as Rishi Baveja plunged towards the lagoon below him at 80mph.

The engineering student was on the holiday island of Phuket in Thailand to celebrate gaining his degree and decided to take the plunge at the local ‘Jungle Bungy Centre’.

Instead of a 30 second thrill he ended up with multiple life threatening injuries after taking the full force of the impact on his chest.

He still suffered a ruptured spleen, torn liver, collapsed lungs and massive bruising that kept him in a Bangkok hospital for nearly a month.
