Trailer Park Life (36 Photos)

This gallery captures the life of the White family living in a Kentucky trailer park.

The collection was snapped over three years by photographer Carl Kiilsgaard on more than a dozen trips to the family ‘home’ in Letcher County, Ky.

Richard White, his wife Tammy, their three children, and Richard’s nephew Derrick Collins all live together in the couples mobile home.

Richard tries to earn a living, with the help of his nephew, selling narcotics, doing odd jobs, and exchanging scrap metal at the junkyard. Like many other families in the region, they rely on welfare to make ends meet.
