Daily Life With The Taliban

The Taliban ruled Afghanistan from 1996 until late 2001 when they were removed from power by NATO forces during Operation Enduring Freedom.
It has since regrouped and revived itself as a strong insurgency movement governing at the local level and fighting a guerrilla war against the governments of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the NATO-led ISAF.
This set of pictures were recently taken along the Afghan border and the Frontier Tribal Areas of Pakistan, where they mainly operate showing a small group of fighters going about their daily business of fighting for their cause.
