Sri Lankan Stick Fishermen (8 Photos)

Sri Lankan fishermen, known locally as stick fishermen, sit perched on stilts fixed into the ocean floor spending many hours on the uncomfortable perch as they wait to land their catch.

This set of photos were taken in Koggala, about 120 kilometres south of Colombo.
