Now we can all make spelling mistakes, I often do so myself as my fingers shuttle round the keyboard hitting all the wrong keys but a fair amount of entries on this list aren’t really spelling mistakes as such.

‘Swan flu’ – come on, that’s not a spelling mistake and neither is ‘Paperview boxing’ – those are searches by the mentally challenged.

* “Dancing With the Starts” (for Dancing With the Stars)

* Brittany Spears (for singer Britney Spears)

* Configure worm (for computer virus Conficker worm)
