A Star Wars Themed Wedding

I’m going to keep this story about a couple’s obsession with Star Wars short and sweet.

The loopy couple themed their wedding on the blockbuster films – with the groom playing Han Solo and the bride Princess Leia.

And it wasn’t just the bride and groom who got dressed up. All their friends and family dressed as Star Wars characters too.

The crazy couple from the Isle of Wight even invited Star Wars director George Lucas. Imagine their disappointment when he wrote back to them saying he was unable to attend.

They even selected the date for the big day so they could bill it as “May the 4th be with you” as a pun on the films’ famous phrase, “may the force be with you”.

I dread to think what they came up with for the honeymoon.
