Leona was described by a US music executive as “the lovechild of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey” during a showcase at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Her debut album Spirit has so far debuted at number one in seven countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand and Germany.
